Perhaps, during our school studies, history was not an enthusiastic subject, but certainly it was part of this branch that we got our head on. What I was interested in was much more attentive to it and we could stay in our mind even as an adult. If we have the opportunity to visit a place familiar with a history lesson, the whole history becomes meaningful.

Everyone has heard about the Stonehenge stone building in southern England. It also immediately reveals that the building is a circular structure of stone blocks. It is not like any of our buildings, and its function is unknown. This is the mystery that attracts researchers and laymen.

The formation of a group of sandstone and earthquakes on the Salisbury plain began in the 2500 years before Christ. Stonehenge's Hungarian equivalent is the expression of suspended stones, which refers to the position of stones. The diameter of the circular blocks is more than thirty meters. The height of some of its elements is close to five meters. The enormous columns in the circle will definitely amaze people and make it more mystical to place these huge blocks in place without any modern tools. The machining and shaping of the stone blocks makes people think at least as much. Since it is not entirely clear what the purpose of the building was, the mystery surrounding Stonehenge is quite large. Many assumptions have been made about what function the building, such as the building that represents the unity of warlike tribes, had a sacred place, the landing place for aliens and could still be classified.

In addition to the huge sandstone blocks, there are forty-two so-called blue stones. This material was extracted from two quarries. Several blue stones come from the stone quarry of Preseli Mountains, 270 km from Stonehenge.

Stonehenge, which is part of the World Cultural Heritage, has been around for thousands of years, but even with today's modern technology, they do not know exactly what the purpose of the building was. In the vicinity of Stonehenge, tombs, ditches, earthquakes, ruins of beamed buildings and shrines were found.
