It's crazy to be there on Mars

Man has populated the entire planet and it very much seems that we are not satisfied with that. We have already been to the moon and now we want to conquer Mars as well.

We also embarked on our experiment for this and three space probes set off for the red planet at once. In addition to the Arab Emirates ’spacecraft called Hope and China’s Tienven-1, NASA’s Mars 2020 is also investigating Mars. Since then, images of the surface of Mars have arrived, but in the minutes before the landing, the nerves of the designers and researchers strained, because the Perseverance marcher cost a lot not only in time, but also in money, by the time they were sent to another planet. For Mars, 200 million kilometers from us, the outcome of a landing cannot be accurately calculated. Because of the huge distance, even those who made the spacecraft will only become spectators. Moreover, they only learned about the event itself later. It was only after severe minutes after landing that they received information about what had happened to the Martian, so this phase of the mission was called the “7 Minutes of Dread”.

The huge-cost device is a nuclear-powered robot vehicle whose job it will be to search for traces of life on Mars. That is why it was very important for the space structure to hit Mars intact. It was even harder to calculate where to get on the surface of the red planet, but an area of 45 km in diameter was targeted for that. The Perseverancet heat shield, which reached the atmosphere of Mars at 19,000 km / h, was protected from the enormous temperature, and the 21.5-meter parachute helped to reach the ground as gently as possible.

Not only has the Martian landed successfully, but since then it has been transmitting the signals, the photos it takes with its Mastercam-Z camera system. With the panoramic photo, we can already see what the surface of the neighboring planet is like. Perseverance is planned to spend a Martian year, or 687 days, on the planet and then return home with the samples it collects during that time.
