In the UK, this topic preoccupied researchers and therefore nearly two hundred participants were included in the study to find out the answer: based on the number of sexual partners, how willing would they be to think about a long-term relationship?

Is it most pleasing if the partner is still a virgin? Or is it better if you had at least one relationship before? Is it acceptable to have more than ten partners? And if more than fifty?

Participants in the research listened to different stories and had to evaluate them according to how pleasing they were.

Just start out. With more relationships, even an adventure behind you, would a man who is still a virgin be sympathetic? Well, the majority of respondents were more deterred by the awareness of having contact with a virgin. It’s more sympathetic than that if someone has some experience sexually. However, it also turned out that as the number of partners increased, the chances of getting involved also decreased.

The research also revealed that women were more strict with men who lined up more than one partner. In contrast, it was even more attractive for the stronger sex to have a woman with more than one sexual partner.

Research has shown that people do not see much chance of a more serious relationship with a virgin, but too many previous partners do not have a sympathetic lasting relationship. This is the case even if we can get acquainted on the Internet today, which means that it is much easier to look for a partner. Moreover, it is much easier to prevent pregnancy and it is easier to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.

How we handle numbers in the area of ​​sexual partners also depends on what culture we grow up in, what patterns we see and bring from home.
