The start of school is an exciting time every year, full of anticipation for both children and parents. However, it is also worth talking about how much this burdens the family coffers. Every parent wants to create the best possible conditions for their child to start school, but there are many families in Hungary who are not given this opportunity. The Hungarian Maltese Charity Service and SPAR want to jointly support families in need again this year with Giving Joy! with its school supplies collection campaign, which can be joined by anyone who would like to donate school supplies.
Do you remember how good a new stationery, patterned notebook, or scented eraser made you feel and how much more eager you were to sit down to do your homework? These are small things and not the most expensive expenses, but many families find it difficult to purchase these supplies. The Hungarian Maltese Charity Service and SPAR Hungary have announced the Joy of Giving! within the framework of the school supplies collection campaign, during the designated period, August 23-26, 2023. between, we can support the start of school for underprivileged children with school supplies purchased in all INTERSPAR stores and delivered on site, or by purchasing donation cards between July 20 and September 1, 2023. If you join the collection campaign, you can contribute to the children receiving a set of colored pencils, a packet of notebooks, a pen holder full of stationery, a drawing set and a school bag filled with school supplies. You can do something to make school years easier for them too.
Domestic INTERSPAR hypermarkets offer customers more than 1,200 types of goods related to school and sports. Basic stationery, notebooks, drawing sheets, writing pads, and other school supplies, including watercolors, tempera, folders, and pen holders can also be found in SPAR supermarkets. Those who choose the online shopping method can also order the necessary school supplies in the SPAR online shop.
Help before the bell rings!
Giving is Joy! school supplies collection campaign, a joint collection campaign of the Hungarian Maltese Charities and SPAR Hungary, which will be held this year between July 20 and September 1, 2023, in two stages. The dedicated donation cards are available in the SPAR online shop and INTERSPAR stores during the entire period of the campaign, and can be purchased in HUF 500, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 HUF denominations. The donation cards purchased by customers are exchanged for real school supplies by the charity service, which are delivered to the school children of needy families before the start of the school year. In addition, the organization's volunteers will personally visit INTERSPAR stores between August 23 and 26, 2023 , to collect school supplies for children in need. The school supplies purchased in the store and intended for donation can be handed over directly to the activists of the charity service on the spot.
