Even aging is not the same for men and women

We can notice the passage of time on many things. The appearance of wrinkles and gray hairs are telltale signs, but the birth of children seems to accelerate this. That is why it is necessary to fill these years with content, quality content, because the experience stays with us forever.

I'll never forget it, it's a kind of anecdote in the family, because my dad used to tell all the ladies everywhere that "women get old, men just get gray". This was his answer to all the ladies he knew who complained about the passing of time.

Aging is a natural process, but you should also be happy about it, because it all means that we are alive, i.e. we did not die young. However, it is noticeable that there are people who start to notice the signs of old age much earlier: baldness, wrinkles, gray hair, more and more diseases. This can be caused by influencing factors such as genetics, predisposition, environmental factors, individual lifestyle, etc.

However, one study pointed to something else. In the case of men, aging can become more apparent in their fifties. At that time, they can look four biological years older. This was also investigated among twin pairs who are not of the same sex. Among them were younger and older pairs of twins. For sibling pairs in each group, they found that the males were biologically older than their female siblings. This is strange because half of the gene pool is the same, but also the environment where they grew up. The explanation for this is that in the case of women, the amount of the female sex hormone, estrogen, is so much higher in their case that it even plays a role in maintaining health. However, men have more testosterone in their bodies, which slows down aging.

All this does not mean that women do not age, but it happens at a completely different pace than the stronger sex. Moreover, in the case of women, crow's feet may appear earlier, thanks to the fact that the skin of women and men is different, moreover, the skin of the stronger sex is thicker, which is why wrinkles are more difficult to show. However, when these insidious lines appear on men's skin, they tear the skin much deeper than they do on women.

Stress is a factor in our lives that is almost unavoidable. Because women are more prone to depression due to hormonal changes, which are also factors that help aging.
