It caused a serious stir when, less than a year ago, the court announced, without providing details, that the queen had spent a night in hospital "in order to carry out certain preliminary tests".
Since then, no official information has been made public about the cause and result of this investigation.

It was also a telltale sign of Queen Elizabeth's weakness that on September 6, just two days before her death, she formally entrusted Prime Minister Liz Truss with the formation of the government in Balmoral, and accepted the resignation of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson there, although in recent decades this ceremony has always been held during changes of government. took place at Buckingham Palace in London.

According to the court's information at the time - also without substantial details - the queen had been struggling with movement problems for months, and that is why the decision was made not to travel to London, but to receive Johnson and his successor in Balmoral.
