One more day and we will reach the crossroads. On this day, they usually take down the decorations from the Christmas tree, which are destined to wait another year. But where do the decorations go?

Tomorrow is officially the day when the Christmas tree turns into a simple pine tree, because the decorations are taken down. Although in many places the Christmas tree is still up throughout January, so that the smell and the pleasant feeling of Christmas still pervade the home, sooner or later the decorations will be removed.

It doesn't matter where we put them. Christmas decorations are not disposable, provided they survived the given period. We will definitely put the intact and beautiful decorations away so that we can use them next year and in the future.

Ball ornaments

The most sensitive and careful storage is certainly required by spherical ornaments. especially pieces made of glass. Even if you have a plastic storage box at home, it is not a guarantee to protect the ornaments. In order to ensure even better quality, we also place egg holders in the plastic box, which can even be placed on top of each other after we have filled the place of the eggs with decorations.

If we have several boxes and decorations in many colors, we can even sort them by color.

Organized

Less sensitive decorations can be placed in a separate box, but we can even distinguish between them by sorting them into the box according to shapes, materials, and colors.

What's more, after Christmas, not only the decorations remain, but also the packaging materials and gift bags left unused or in a preserved condition after opening presents. These should also be put in a separate box.

String of lights

The string of lights is not only the defining decoration of the Christmas tree, but also helps to decorate the exterior and interior of the home. We can have several string lights of different sizes and colors, which is why it is worth storing them in such a way that they do not get tangled, as this ensures the length of their usability. A part freed from a stronger paper box or even a cardboard sheet is excellent for this. Cut strips in the paper, in which the string of lights will get caught when you wind it up. In this way, we can not only keep the garlands stable and tangle-free, but also protect their integrity.
