There are many furnishings in our home for comfort and design, and we take it for granted that we will equip our house when furnishing our home.

The wardrobe, the bed, the table, the chairs, the armchair and the shelves are basic pieces, but let's not forget about the mirror as a piece of furniture that can give an authentic picture of what a dress is on, and the effect of increasing the space must not be ignore.

When there was no mirror, people even tried to look at themselves in shiny, reflective objects. The most natural and oldest mirror is the water surface. In it, we only see ourselves as we are when the water surface is smooth. In older times, it was forbidden to throw a stone into the water of the lake if someone looked at it in it, because it brought him bad luck and hurt his soul with it. The reflection seen in the water was actually counted as the soul.

In older ages, there may have been a round mirror at the house in which people examined their own souls. Mirrors have been important props since ancient times. Even round mirrors were found in the tombs. These were called soul mirrors, but so-called gate mirrors could also be found on the gates at the city limits. With this, they wanted to get the stranger entering the settlement to look into their own soul, to examine what intentions they wanted to live with. The mirror has seen the soul, but it also helps the development of the soul, as we can hold a self-examination.

The mirror was not only considered suitable for the examination of the soul, but was also thought to be a spiritual gateway. So with the mirror one can also predict and many superstitions have been woven around the mirror, some of which are still known today. The integrity of the mirror must be taken care of because it is bad luck. For singles, a broken mirror can mean 7 years of solitude.

Every house has at least one mirror in which we can see how the dress we are wearing is on us, but the selection and placement of the mirror is more of an aesthetically important issue. And it doesn’t hurt to make sure you place a regular-shaped, intact mirror in your home and keep it clean at all times. A round mirror placed on the east side of our apartment can do a good service to the energy of our home. The mirror placed in this way radiates clean energy in our home.
