The main function of the ice cube holder is, of course, making the ice cube. Water filled in plastic, silicone or metal form just needs to be frozen and the ice cube is ready. However, this tiny object can do much more than that.

Kitchen use

To stay in the kitchen yet, but use the ice cube holder differently, we can think of a special storage for the spices that can be used for our food. All you have to do is pour vegetable oil, fat into the recesses of the ice cube holder and sprinkle the herbs. Then we just have to put it in the freezer and consequently take it out when we want to use it for our food.

In the same way, the ice cube holder can be used in the kitchen if it is filled with coffee. It can get into the freezer when it has cooled down. If we ever want iced coffee, we only need to take out a dice or two.

Not everyone likes coffee, but we can still indulge in vanilla chocolate. All you have to do is melt the chocolate, fill the container with it and, on occasion, just drop it into vanilla milk. It can be a great favorite for kids.

We cannot always eat fresh fruit. If you have a tiny baby in the family, you may want to peel the fruits, mash them and they can also have a place in the ice cube holder. Can be used as baby food later.

Use outside the kitchen

If there are several ice cube holders at home, one of which we sacrifice, it can also become a flower holder for succulents. Put some flower soil in each recess and plant tiny succulents in it. In order for the plants to remain in the holder, it is worth gluing a piece of ice cream stick to the stem of the plant and planting them in the ground. A holder planted with a plant can also look good, but if you put more next to each other, it can be even better.
