We don’t turn off during the holidays either

According to the announcement, respondents planned to take a total of 13 days out of their average 29 days of leave a year this summer.

While in 2014, 37 percent of those surveyed traveled, that rate rose to 60 percent by 2019 and 65 percent this year.

According to the survey, six out of ten workers can easily take their leave, and one in ten respondents felt that this was hindered by various factors.

The majority of employees are fully relieved during their leave, only a third of them have to replace the tasks accumulated during the time spent away from their current duties.

Available paid days off are used by four out of ten employees divided into longer shifts, typically traveling for more than a week, with approximately as many trying to plan shorter programs, and 35 per cent taking only 1-2 days off at a time, the statement said.

According to the survey, 7 per cent of respondents have a supervisor, while 5 per cent of their colleagues do not consider their leave, with 32 per cent of respondents working on holiday occasionally while 9 per cent work regularly.

Sixty percent of respondents follow corporate correspondence even from the beach, plus 30 percent stay away from it every day and 8 percent completely away from it. More than half of respondents receive formal calls occasionally or all the time, and only 14 percent said they don’t pick up their phone at all during the holidays, the statement said.

The research also pointed out that in 2020, due to the epidemic, nearly a quarter of workers were forced to take part of their leave during a period designated by management due to optimization, cost-effectiveness and uncertain planning. In this year’s wave of vaccinations, 3 percent of respondents were forced to take sick leave due to vaccination, and 7 percent had to take a paid day off.
