Not only the coronavirus, but life itself may have brought about a need to redesign our lives. It may also be necessary to change and start again in private life and / or employment.
Everyone is afraid of the unknown, but it can be brought about by the fact that we have no other choice. We have to get tired of what we are in, we want something different, again, varied. When, as a child, as a young adult, we plan a journey for ourselves (our parents plan), we get the qualifications we need to do it, and we get to work, we may realize that we are not even on the path we want. At a young age, we can feel much more strength and momentum in ourselves, but the change is that it is necessary and compulsive.
There may be talk of burnout, of fatigue, but the coronavirus has eliminated many jobs, so the search for a new job may be topical. If they are not terminated, but simply feel that going to our current place is getting more and more exciting day by day, it can result in at least as bad a mental state as being surprised as a cold shower by being fired. Neither is better than the other, but what they have in common is that you have to start over. And if you are already looking for a job, you can even think about a career change.
Employment is key in most people’s lives, as it is important to create a depositor for the family, to pay the bills. The pressure on people to find work at all costs is therefore also a pressure on them. Even if they are discouraged and self-confident, it is even harder to find a new and possibly good job. Career change holds further difficulties, as it is not always easy to replace a regular activity with a new one, but enthusiasm and determination can come in handy. It’s a big help to have the support of a new boss and co-workers.
A job seeker may be less embarrassed if he is aware of his abilities. You know the limits. And it has the same advantage if we are aware of our disadvantages. This is because everyone has it. We have to dare to try, to make our dreams come true, but it is important that the goals are realistic and that our competence is appropriate for that.
