The workplace is definitely the scene of compliance. There are expectations for the boss, for the colleagues, and the stakes are high even if we are the boss of ourselves and / or others.
We also work to support the family, ourselves, and to make our dreams come true. We go to our workplace every day, where we can hopefully work in the best job and with the best colleagues. But the conditions are by no means so ideal for everyone. Anyone who doesn’t feel too well in their work environment can be caused by an un-ideal work environment, inadequate equipment, some awkward co-workers, rivalry, fear of the boss and more could be listed. Anyone forced to work in a situation like this is probably dreaming of working from home. Nor does working from home, that is, home office, mean that you watch television all day, swing your legs and do nothing. It’s tempting to think that we can work at our own pace, with great peace of mind, and even more promising, we can do it all from home. In fact, this way we don’t have to face any behavior from co-workers, not least because there are no co-workers in home office work. This is really promising for those who are currently working in a workplace where they are not feeling well for some reason. Working from home is tempting because you don’t have to listen to co-workers ’stories, no one can get involved in the work.
As for the advantage, it can also be a disadvantage. The advantage is seen by many to be that someone can even start their work in their pajamas. The desire for freedom is tempting in the home office. The more we withdraw from other people, the more lonely and isolated we can become. The hopes added at the beginning may be abandoned when it turns out that it is much harder to work from home to find the depositor for ourselves. If we work from home, the world of housework and work can be confused. One can be done at the expense of the other and can be depressing if we don’t go as planned. Plus, there’s no feedback on how we do our home office work. Compliance with bosses isn’t always easy, but at least we know how to do our job. There is no control over working from home.
For many, working alone at home in a peaceful environment is tempting, but working alone for long periods of time can also mean being isolated from people unnoticed and becoming lonely.
