Companies began a strong recruitment last year

It was highlighted that after the autumn peak, the recruitment process slowed down somewhat by the last quarter of the year, with the last quarter of 2021 bringing in 80 percent more job postings than in the same period last year.

The research shows that the desire to recruit increased the most in Zala, Baranya and Vas counties in the fourth quarter, while in Komárom-Esztergom, Békés and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok it was less typical, but growth was also measured in these areas. .

Nationwide, advertisers sought the most employees for skilled work in the last quarter, with physical, auxiliary and trained work being the second most intensively recruiting areas.

According to the information, the largest increase in advertising volume was generated by the hospitality, hotel and tourism category in the fourth quarter of 2021 compared to the same period of the previous year. The second most booming area with 131 percent is administrative, office work, followed by skilled work with 117 percent.

The research also pointed out that the demand for professionals differs in different regions of Hungary, and the need for human resources of companies is changing in addition to the recruitment of the leading catering industry.

According to the announcement, most applications have been for job postings looking for skilled workers, but there is still a labor shortage in this area. At the national level, the ranking of the professions that collect the most applications is driven by the professional work, but the amount of available labor still lags behind the recruitment needs of employers. In second place were the administrative areas as well as sales and trade.
