There can be many reasons for changing jobs. We’re not dealing with that right now, but all the more so for what makes an application a chance.

Did you find an advertised job opportunity that caught your attention? Do you think you will apply? Do you meet all expectations and attach the requested CV? That's fine, but you can do more than that. Attach a cover letter to your resume.

Many people are frightened by writing a cover letter. But why? And why is it so important?

Cover letter

You may only be asked for a resume when you apply, but why not send more? The cover letter is used to explain to the employee why they are applying for the position. What you expect from your applicants depends on your employer. If there is no need for anything other than a resume, you cannot spoil your application by attaching a cover letter. In many cases, however, both are an expectation.

The cover letter is a mummy for many because it should always be tailored to the position. That’s why they’re afraid, though, if we take it that way, it might be more of an opportunity.

While the resume contains a lot of data about us in years, the cover letter is much more about what uniqueness we are and more about what abilities we have. Moreover, if we write this letter well, we can even show a slice of our individuality that can grab the employer’s attention.

Since it is a letter, that is, a flowing text, there is a greater chance that we will show something of our personality.

It's a letter, but you don't have to give it too much. Think about the fact that a job advertiser can receive hundreds of applications. If everyone brushes through the pages why he or she is the ideal candidate, the reader gets tired. So less can be more and more sympathetic.

A good cover letter will cover your resume. With a concise but interestingly worded letter, we can get the attention of the employer. And that is the goal.

What if they don’t ask for a cover letter just a resume to apply for the job? You can’t spoil your application with a well-written letter, so even if you don’t ask for it, feel free to attach your custom motivation letter, which explains what motivates you and what your goals are.
