Parents spend 2-6 thousand forints on play on children's day

According to Régio's online research, eight out of ten children are waiting for the last Sunday in May. Entertainment programs include the most popular boulevard, trampoline and face painting. 88 percent of Hungarian families each year, 6 percent more rarely, but celebrate the Day of Children according to research.

The Hungarian-owned Regio Game achieved net sales of HUF 12.2 billion in 2018, up 16 percent on the previous year. It has 34 stores throughout the country, employs 450 people and has a 25 percent share in the Hungarian toy market.
According to the data of Formatex Kft., The day is the third busiest period in the toy store network after the Christmas and Easter season. For children, most of them continue to play games, books, or sweets, but many will surprise their children with their favorite food, Formatex said based on research.

János Borhi, Managing Director of Formatex, said in a statement that the basket value in their toy stores is growing, the average basket value is $ 5,500. Spring outdoor games, sports equipment are also a favorite choice for parents to gift.
